Congratulations to Mollie Lenihan McGrane who was presented an 2013 All Ireland Scholarship J.P.McManus Award at the University of Limerick for excellence in her Leaving Certificate exam 2013. We wish Mollie every success in her studies.
Congratulations to Laina O'Hara (2nd year) who won first prize in the 11-13 age group of the local chapter finals recently. Laina now goes on to represent the Waterford chapter in the provincial finals.
As part of a fundraising effort for the school, the Parents' Association have invited Eunice Power to give a cookery demonstration at The Park Hotel on Thursday, December 5th at 8pm. Tickets are priced at €10 each and are available at David Walsh, Office, School and Computer Supplies, The Wine Buff and at the school office. Please support this very worthy cause.
Due to the current ASTI industrial action we are unable to hold our Open Day as planned on Saturday 23rd November 2013.
Application forms for Incoming First Year Students are now available from the school.
Completed forms must be submitted by Friday 29th November 2013 before 4:00pm.
It was an early 4:30am start on Friday, May 3rd for students and teachers on this year's first year trip to Alton Towers.
Further to the 2nd year's "Food not Fuel" campaign a concert featuring traditional music and dance was held in the school hall on October 4th.
