CIDER WASPS RELEASE SINGLE AS PART OF WORK EXPERIENCE CHALLENGE
When 16 year old Danny Dunford lead singer with Dungarvan Band CIDER WASPS did his work experience with Waterford Co Council Environment Department, little did he know that his final task set by Ms Anne Sullivan (Environmental Officer) would be to write a song about the environment.

Irish Wheelchair Sports Association

Geography Beach Trip
On Friday morning, March 14th, a group of 50 students and two teachers donned their coats and wellies for a trip to Clonea Beach. The group was working on geographic investigation course work for their Leaving Cert Geography exam. The students participated in a number of activities such as wave counting, monitoring the direction and speed of longshore drift, beach fabric analysis and sketching. in spite of the cold weather, all students were pleased with their mornings work and it made a "nice change from the classroom".

YSI Speak Out
On Wednesday 19th March 2014, all of the Transition Year students attended the YSI (Young Social Innovator) Speak Out in Cork City Hall to showcase their projects. The following projects took part: TY1 Eating disorders, TY2 Water Safety, TY3 Mental Health Awareness and TY4 Gay Rights.

Seachtain na Gaeilge Quiz Winners
Winning quiz team: 5th year students; Philip Keevers, Eimear Donnelly, Liz Devine and Síne Ní Sheanlaoich. The quiz was one of the many activities that marked Seachtain na Gaeilge at St Augustine's.
