Transition Year Road Traffic School

Paul Dalton from” Traffic School” with TY5 students. Paul gave a very informative workshop on road & car safety, the rules & regulations of driving and the importance of being a safe driver.

- Tomi Reifensthall, survivor of Bergen- Belsen concentration camp will chat with the students of his experiences as a prisoner in the death camp.

- This week the TY students will be focusing on Road Safety with a talk by the RSA on Monday. Continuing on the theme pf Road Safety the students will also have their Traffic School Module from Tuesday to Thursday.
- As part of Maths Week those TY students who have been working with Ms. Martin will be delivering a Maths class to the first years.The Amber Flag Team will be meeting at 1.30 in the study hall on Monday 12th.Goal Club will be meeting Tuesday 13th at 1.30.
So a busy week all round.
CSI Forensic Workshop

On Tuesday, September 22nd, Transition Year students enjoyed a CSI Forensic Workshop withMs Alison Leeck. The students got the opportunity to re-enact real life crime scene scenarios which they really enjoyed. Pictured with Ms Alison Leeck are TY students Ella Fay, Darragh Walsh and Breccan Gibson.

TY School Trips 2016
A trip to Poland is being offered to TY students over the Easter holidays 2016. The cost is approximately €490. Payments can be made the following way:
- Deposit of €125 by September 23rd
- Second instalment €125 by October 22nd
- Third instalment of €125 by November23rd
- Final instalment of €115 by the December 15th
Baltinglass School trip takes place on the last week of April.
- The cost is approximately €170
- Deposits will be taken in January.
