T.Y. Activities Week Beginning 21st November 2016
- Rehearsals are shaping up nicely for Joseph.
- GAA Coaching Module on Monday.
- On Wednesday the students have a Food Science Workshop on digestion.
- A bake sale will take place on Thursday and Friday aimed at raising funds for our Handball Team, travelling to the USA over Christmas.
- The following clubs are all running at lunchtimes: Environmental, Sports, library, Goal, Alter & Smarter-Travel

TY Activities – 9th May 2016
- Monday: Pitch and Putt and Interview Skills Module.
- Tuesday: 7pm Toastmasters Public Speaking Event Night. All are welcome.
- Wednesday: Sky Sports students visit the local primary school. Japanese Cultural Module
- Thursday: GAA coaching module. Japanese Cultural Module
- A very special thanks also goes out to the TY students who helped out with the Pieta Darkness to Light Walk on Saturday morning.

A Taste of Japan
Transition Year students enjoyed an introduction to Japanese culture on Thursday, May 12th. Ms Michelle Healy who spent time teaching English in Japan gave the students a very interesting workshop, with the students actively participating.

TY activities- Wednesday, May 4th
This week may be a short one for the TY Students but it's still busy.
- On Wednesday The Sky Sports students will visit the local primary school to help out with games.
- Thursday the students have their GAA coaching module.
- TY 1 students have their Yoga Module on Thursday.
- Students will also collecting for the Irish Heart Foundation at Twomey's Spar on Thursday.
- TY students have been very helpful in preparation for the Pieta House “darkness to into Light” fundraiser. Well done!
Junior Achievement Success Skills.

Mr Pat Devereux gave a very informed presentation to TY3 students on the key to the successful interview. The areas he discussed were effective communication and developing CVs.
