ARTiculation Final at Lismore Castle

 

ARTICULATION 2017Congratulations to Sarah Mullaney who took part in the All -Ireland final of Articulation in Lismore Castle on Friday.Sarah gave a brilliant performance and was given high praise from internationally acclaimed Irish artist Alice Maher for her presentation on the Impressionist painter Degas.Thanks to Sarah's Fellow Transition Years who gave her great support on the day and to Mr Padraig Mac Craith and Mr Pat Knightly who accompanied them. Thanks also to Lismore Castle Arts who looked after everyone on the day and the fantastic lunch provided was much appreciated.

Transition Year Musical 2017 " Joseph"

The Transition Year musical "Joseph" will be staged at "The Friary" from January 25th to 28th, inclusive. The TY students have been practising very hard in preparation for this much loved musical. We at St Augustine's look forward to welcoming you all to the college. Tickets will be availavle from the usual outlets, David Walsh, Office and School Supplies,Lower Main Street and from the school office.

Transition News 5th December 2016

  • A special thanks to the students who helped the Irish Kidney Association with their bag packing fundraiser this weekend in Dunnes. 
  • Well done to the students whose Bake Sale raised €600 and will help to fund the school Handball who travel to the USA over Christmas.
  • Best of luck to Sarah Mullaney who is representing the school tomorrow at the ARTICULATE competition in Waterford.
  • Rehearsals for Joseph continue this week.
