Friary Minor Girls' Hockey squad who enjoyed a 3-1 victory over Middleton College in the South Munster League recently with goals from Aoibhe Kirwan, Katie Kenneally and Saoirse Kelly.
Our Under 16 ½ Football team had a convincing win over Blackwater Community College in Cappoquin last week. Their success puts them through to the Munster South semi finals on March 8th. Opponents and venue will be posted on @friarysports twitter account. Well done lads and mentors.
Great day down at WIT Sports grounds for our Under 14 Hurlers.The squad played three games vs De La Salle, Ârd Scoil na Mara & Ghaelcoláiste, Chorcaí. Big thanks you to Dermot Dooley , De La Salle who organised the Br Anselm Barrett Cup competition. Well done lads.
First Year hockey squad who played St Declan's Kilmac, in a hockey blitz today at the college. Despite the weather the girls really enjoyed themselves. A nice way to celebrate International Women's Day. The Minor Girls' team also took part. Thanks again to mentors Mr Eamonn Cashin and Mr William Kelly.
Ava Mai Tobin, Rachel Flavin & Caoimhe Early, represented the college at the Camogie Club All Ireland’s in Croke Park on Sunday. The girls were selected as part of the Future Leaders GAA TY programme. Well done girls.
Our U14 B team accompanied by Mr Jason Forrestal & Mr Mark O’Brien took on Mount Sion today in a Munster Schools’ Championship game. While victory wasn’t ours, the boys really enjoyed their visit to the Waterford hurling stronghold. Well done lads. Team
