Dear Parents/Guardians/Students,
I hope this letter finds you and your family well. I hope you had a pleasant Christmas and New Year. I would like to welcome all our students and staff back to St. Augustine’s College on Thursday the 6th of January.
Our return to school will not be without challenges. There will be student and teacher absences due to contracting Covid or from being a close contact or family member. We will do our best to keep the school safe, open and classes running but please understand the difficulties involved at this time for everyone. We must get through this together.
Could all parents/guardians please ensure that you read the information below with your son/daughter before they return to school.
-
In line with HSE and Dept of Education Guidelines all students are required to wear a mask in school and follow all instructions as issued with regard to Covid 19.
-
Drop of point for students is by the bus shelter outside the school grounds. Please do not drive on to school grounds.
Ahead of returning to school it is very important that all students submit the return to school declaration form.
This is available on the school app and I would ask that you complete and submit now. However if unable to access school app then print off a paper version from link below.
Please print it off and complete and bring it with you on the first day of school.

***Please note that there is no school on Tuesday the 11th of January due to Department of education cluster based in-service training for all teachers. This date was chosen by the Department of Education and is not in our control.***
Covid-19 Return to School.
All covid-19 return to school documentation is on the school website. It is very important that all our students adhere to national guidelines, policies and procedures. https://www.staugustines.ie/covid-19.
Kind regards, Michael O’Sullivan
